General Inquiries
Where is Stackmasters.bet being held?
A Stackmasters.bet tournament will be hosted by the sponsoring casino resort, with potential venues including Las Vegas, Sacramento, and Atlantic City. The official venue will be announced once the details for the upcoming tournament are finalized.
What are the two tournament series?
There are two exciting tournaments available: Baccarat and Blackjack. Each tournament may feature two competitive tiers that players can join—the Master Royale and the Diamond Royale. The key distinction between these tiers lies in their table limits, with each offering different minimum and maximum betting amounts to cater to various playing styles and strategies.
The tournament series will be organized in accordance with each casino resort’s rules and policies. All relevant details will be outlined in the scheduled tournament.
Are there online tournament games?
Working on it! In addition to casino-hosted venue games, we will also be hosting online tournament games through gaming operator apps. These tournaments will take place in states where online gaming is permitted.
Can a player join both table tournaments?
Yes! A player can participate in multiple tournaments and series. However, each tournament requires a separate registration and buy-in. Players cannot transfer or use their chips from one tournament to another, as each tournament operates independently.
Do you have to be a professional player to join?
No, you don’t need to be a professional blackjack or baccarat player to join the tournament! However, we do recommend that participants have a solid understanding of the basic rules, strategies, and betting techniques for each game to compete effectively. After all, the goal is to win, and success requires a combination of skill, discipline, and a little bit of luck.
What information are collected?
To participate in the tournament, players must present a valid government-issued ID to verify their name, age, and address. Registration is only open to individuals aged 21 and older. Additionally, winners will be required to provide further information for tax reporting purposes.
How do I register to join the tournament?
To register, click on the signup link, complete the required information, and submit the form. You will need to provide your name, age, and address, which will be subject to verification. Additionally, players must select their desired tournament and agree to the tournament’s rules and terms before completing registration.
All submitted registrations will be carefully evaluated and reviewed before approval for tournament participation.
How does the buy-in works?
After submitting the registration form and receiving approval, players must complete payment of the registration fee (set entry fee) along with the required buy-in amount within five (5) days. ACH transfers are the preferred payment method. Once the buy-in is processed, players will receive a unique tournament ID# and a printed voucher. On the day of the tournament, bring your government-issued ID and the voucher to check-in, where the table dealer will convert it into gaming chips.
Do I have to use and bet all my buy-in?
No! It’s your money and bankroll to play and compete. The buy-in is a suggested threshold for a better chance at winning, but how you bet is up to you. You can cash out if you’re ahead, but re-entry is not allowed once you leave the table.
How many rounds are there in the tournament?
Each tournament will consist of four intense rounds, designed to progressively narrow down the competition and determine the ultimate champion. The first round serves as the elimination stage, where players compete to secure their place in the tournament. The second round, known as the seeding round, ranks the remaining players based on their performance, setting the stage for the high-stakes quarterfinal round. By this point, only the most strategic and skilled participants will remain, leading to an exciting showdown in the championship round, where the final contenders battle for victory.
Players will be grouped and assigned to designated tables, where they must showcase their strategic prowess to outplay their opponents. The key to advancing is accumulating the highest total chip value at the end of each round. Only those who stack the most chips will progress, while others will be eliminated from the competition. With every round increasing in intensity, the tournament promises a thrilling test of skill, strategy, and resilience, ensuring that only the best rise to the top.
Tournament rounds may change per host casino resort’s rules. All details will be available in the tournament’s registration.
How is the tournament structured?
The tournament features two distinct events, Blackjack and Baccarat, each with its own unique format and rules, played for one hour per round. In Baccarat, each stage will be played with a single or double shoe containing approximately 6-8 decks, with only the dealer handling the cards. In Blackjack, each stage may run from one to three shoes to determine a winner, with the dealer managing the cards.
The host casino reserves the right to modify the tournament structure, with any changes communicated to players before registration. One potential change could be a one-hour timed play format, where players progress through time rather than using shoe decks.
The complete set of rules will be posted once a specific tournament is scheduled.
Can a player exit the tournament at any time?
Yes! A player may choose to exit the tournament at any round. However, once a player exits, they are permanently withdrawn and cannot re-enter the selected tournament.
Are winnings carried over to the next round or cashed out?
At the end of each round, players who are eliminated or do not accumulate enough winnings to advance will have their remaining gaming chips, if any, converted back into cash to keep. However, for those who progress to the next round, a portion of their winnings may be converted into cash to ensure a fair and level playing field among all advancing players. This system prevents any significant advantage based on previous round performance, maintaining competitive balance throughout the tournament.
For example, if Player 1 finishes a round with a total of $7,500—comprising $5,000 in winnings plus their $2,500 buy-in—and Player 2 finishes with $12,500—$10,000 in winnings plus their $2,500 buy-in—both players will begin the next round with the same adjusted bankroll of $7,500. The tournament determines this reset amount by taking the lowest total winnings from the advancing players in the previous round.
A player who advances with the lowest winnings must either continue with their full bankroll or exit the tournament without cashing out. If a winning player chooses not to proceed, the next highest-ranked player will take their spot in the following round.
What rewards and prizes does StackMasters.bet offer?
Every scheduled tournament will feature prizes for the top winners, including cash rewards and exclusive gifts or items from sponsors. Rewards and gifts will vary depending on the specific tournament.
Are tournament winnings taxed?
Yes! Tournament winnings are taxed. Stackmasters.bet or the casino host (tournament venue) must report significant winnings to the IRS by issuing Form W2-G, Certain Gambling Winnings. Players are responsible for including these earnings on their tax returns and may owe federal and state taxes, depending on their location.
Is the tournament series streamed?
The Stackmasters.bet tournament will be filmed, with footage used for streaming and media projects in both short and long formats.
Can I opt out of being filmed?
The tournament series will be filmed for both long and short-form content, but players have the option to opt out. This doesn’t mean they won’t be recorded, but their face or body can be blurred to protect their privacy.
If you have any concerns about the filming process, feel free to contact us to discuss your options.
Are flight and accommodation discounted?
Stackmasters.bet partners with host casino resorts to offer discounted room rates and collaborates with airlines for competitive travel pricing. Flight and accommodation packages are detailed in the scheduled tournament listings.
